What is your motivation for pursuing an M.S. in Business Analytics?

To gain hard skills that will serve me in the short term while gaining a degree and network that will be valuable in the long term

What led you to UVA’s MSBA program?

The in-person element and much more in-depth topics being covered

How has the MSBA program complemented your work experience?

It has placed me in a position to contribute when solving for issues that are big-impact issues with my firm.

What is the most practical concept and/or skill that you have learned so far?

The most practical concept for me so far has been hands-on experiences with analysis tools.

What is your favorite and/or the most valuable aspect(s) of the residences?

The thing I value most about the residencies has been the ability to network with my peers and other professionals.

How have you been able to integrate the program into your professional responsibilities and personal commitments?

I have been successful in learning and being able to utilize tools that improve my regular responsibilities both personally and professionally.

What are your interests and hobbies?

My children and college football

What is your best piece of advice for prospective students?

Spend time with the content every day, and don’t be afraid to take on topics that are out of your comfort zone.
