What is your motivation for pursuing an M.S. in Business Analytics?

I’m excited to develop this knowledge to help build our firm’s capabilities for client delivery.

What led you to UVA’s MSBA program?

I have admired the academic reputation of the program and have always wanted to attend UVA.

How has the MSBA program complemented your work experience?

I anticipate it will provide a level of detail to help clients with more technical and data projects.

What is the most practical concept and/or skill that you have learned so far?

Learning how to use Tableau…and the strategy refresher was outstanding!

What is your favorite and/or the most valuable aspect(s) of the residences?

The most valuable aspect of the residencies has been relationship building. I have truly enjoyed the in-person component allowing me to connect with my peers.

How have you been able to integrate the program into your professional responsibilities and personal commitments?

While early in the program, I am still finding new ways to integrate the program into my professional responsibilities, but the Tableau class this residency has been outstanding.

What are your interests and hobbies?

Golf, exercise, college football, live music with my wife and daughter

What is your best piece of advice for prospective students?

Prepare, and set aside time.
