What is your motivation for pursuing an M.S. in Business Analytics?

My motivation for pursuing an M.S. in Business Analytics is to acquire advanced analytical skills that can be directly applied in my role, enabling me to make more informed, data-driven decisions.

What led you to UVA’s MSBA program?

I was drawn to UVA’s MSBA program because of its outstanding reputation for academic excellence, its emphasis on real-world application, and its focus on developing both technical and business acumen.

How has the MSBA program complemented your work experience?

The MSBA program has been a powerful complement to my work experience by equipping me with the tools and knowledge to provide my manager with more informed and data-driven recommendations.

What is the most practical concept and/or skill that you have learned so far?

The most practical concepts I’ve learned so far are predictive modeling, data visualization, and machine learning. These have significantly enhanced my ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

What is your favorite and/or the most valuable aspect(s) of the residences?

My favorite aspect of the residences is the opportunity to meet my teammates in person.

How have you been able to integrate the program into your professional responsibilities and personal commitments?

Engaging with professors and teammates for academic support, while involving my family for emotional and logistical support, has been crucial in maintaining balance.

What are your interests and hobbies?

Tennis, hiking, yoga

Take full advantage of all the resources UVA offers to enhance your academic and professional growth.
